I have turned these people in to the local health dept. twice and still am gettting no results. My child is living there with my ex-husband of 10 years and I'm afraid he will get sick.

if the health department wont do anything, call child services and file a complaint with them. if they follow up with a home visit they might just let you take your child. also what are your cities bylaws about trash in yards? if you get enough people to complain they will have to clean it up or the city will send a crew. if they rent their house call their landlord and complain about the eyesore they have created. good luck.

Very simple call them again and tell them there are RATS all over the place. and this is a health hazard, tell them if they do something about it you will inform the BBC TV NEWS department . YouĂ‚´ll see how fast they come and do the job. wouldĂ‚´t be nice if the health department received a bad reputation . Also call the local council & tell them the same thing

Sounds more like your mad at your ex. But if that is not the case it is not the job of the local health dept to enforce local trash policies. Contact your city workers i.e. Mayor, alderman who ever is in charge.

You should see my neighbors home. You can't get in the kitchen door and the rest of the place looks like a sump. Calling the Health Dept doesn't work so try Children's Social Service. That's what we had to do.
