Why do some opponents of health reform keep repeating the following untrue statements

Why do some opponents of health reform keep repeating the following untrue statements?
They claim that starting next year, you're going to have to start paying taxes on your health benefits - No you won't. They claim that Congress is exempt from the health reforms. No they're not. The same rules apply to them as apply to anyone else. They claim that all pre-existing conditions are the result of a lifestyle choice. Tell that to the child who develops Juvenile Arthritis, or the person who is told they have Multiple Sclerosis, or the mother of a child with Leukemia. Are you that short on truths that you have to resort to lies?

It's just hate/fear rhetoric. Most will now vote out their Reps if the benefits are taken away. Exclusions. No more. Pre-Existing Conditions. No more Kids on your policy till age 26. Obanumisn must have been born yesterday, also.

They repeat what lobbyists tell them to say.

Cons seem to enjoy kicking people when they are down and blaming the victims . It is truly so cruel .

I've never heard one person argue those points. Where did you get them?

There's a VERY FEW Billionaires who are scared to death of this healthcare thing. They might not be getting enough Tax Cuts anymore -and they tell their lies through the right wing media stations - FOX FAKE "News" - (it's Fair and Balanced, remember) - and Clear Channel - home of Lush Limbo and his River of Hate Radio Show. All the right wing idiots in this country are just being moved around like pawns by the right wing media - creator of the fake TeaBag Movement.

http://insurancenewsnet.com/article.aspx?id=191538&type=lifehealth A tax will be imposed on employers on Cadillac insurance plans in 2018. 40%. It is estimated that health insurance for a family of 4 will cost $28,000 by 2018. This cost will undoubtedly be passed on to the employee or the employee will have to buy health insurance elsewhere. I have heard that people who smoke or are obese will pay more for insurance. It would be really special if the democrats would actually, honestly, do a bullet point on what is actually in the bill but they love the controversy and the fact that employers are at a standstill because they don't know how this will effect them. All they say are generalities like 32 million more will be covered, we will squeeze every dime on medicare, etc. They don't want to tell you your state taxes are going to go through the roof becausse 16 million are going to be added to medicaid. They don't tell you that rather than driving down the cost of health care, they are driving it up. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_health_care_premiums Look what is happening already. This is not going to be good for anybody.
